Thanks!
Can you believe it's time to start thinking about Holiday photos? Once again I am holding the annual Portraits in the Park at Elm Bank. The date is September 26th (rescheduled if it rains). The session is 30 minutes. The cost is $350 and includes 10 professionally retouched digital files (ready for printing) or $250 with 50 custom designed Holiday Cards. Sign up with a friend and you each receive 1 complimentary 8x10 print.
I had the pleasure of photographing Heather Kempskie, editor of P&K magazine, and her adorable family. Despite her son's strong aversion to thunder and lightning...he was a real trooper, along with his sister who hammed it up for the camera. We had a ball. And...I am so excited...stay tuned for August's issue featuring one of my images :-) Heather wrote all about the session on her blog. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.
I am thrilled to see my work featured in The Bump Magazine's latest issue! The Bump is the quintessential go-to guide for moms-to-be and is a part of The Knot and The Nest publications. You may recognize this mom from my portfolio and this article is a cute Q + A about being a mom for the third time! Congrats Tracey!
As some of you know, boudoir photography is a fairly new addition to my portrait work. It certainly is worlds away from what I do at weddings and with my family and baby portraits, but it is fun in its own right. Boston Herald reporter Darren Garrick featured me and Sublime Boudoir in his column in the Business section, called Working Stiff. I'm so excited to be in the newspaper and so grateful to my clients who allowed their images to be in print!!! Check it out.
Check out my slideshow of this wonderful session. The girls had SO much fun splashing in the puddles.
So, yesterday I had two photo sessions at Elm Bank. The first one was a very adorable family and the second was my daughter's babysitter who is thinking about getting into modeling. I brought Julia along and our babysitter kept her busy for the first shoot. While I photographed Annie, I had Julia follow us around with a 30D camera and it definitely kept her busy. And she got this shot, not bad for a 3 year old !!
